Bio:

Glenn Thomas Jacobs (born April 26, 1967), better known by his ring name, Kane, is a Spanish-born American professional wrestler and actor. He is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment wrestling on its Raw brand.
Jacobs attended Quincy University in Illinois, where he played basketball, before joining Northeast Missouri State University on a basketball scholarship. In the 1988–1989 season, he was an NCAA all-star; he is still listed in the Truman State University media guide as holding the record for highest field goal percentage for a single season (in both the 1987–88 and 1988–89 seasons) and is the career leader in field goal percentage Jacobs also led the 1988–89 team in several categories, including blocked shots and rebounds per game. Despite his success, Jacobs opted to switch to playing on the college football team, where he earned all-conference honors as an offensive lineman. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in English and then worked as a junior high substitute teacher in the St. Louis, Missouri area. He has stated, "after doing that, teachers have my respect; that's a pretty tough profession... So if I wasn't wrestling, I don't think I'd be teaching."
Jacobs began his professional wrestling career in 1992. He was first known as Angus King when he debuted in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Jacobs briefly appeared on WCW Saturday Night in 1993 as Bruiser Mastino in a match versus Sting. Jacobs later moved south and began wrestling as The Christmas Creature and Doomsday, appearing in the United States Wrestling Association and as Unabomb in Smoky Mountain Wrestling, where he held the SMW Tag Team Championship with Al Snow in a team called The Dynamic Duo. He also competed in the Japanese shoot wrestling promotion Pro Wrestling Fujiwara Gumi under his own name.
Jacobs made his film debut as "Jacob Goodnight" in the first production of WWE Studios, See No Evil, which was released on May 19 2006.
Jacobs appeared on a special WWF edition of "The Weakest Link" in March 2002 and became the strongest link by defeating Bubba Ray Dudley in the final round. The money won was donated to Jacobs' chosen charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Memphis, Tennessee. Jacobs (along with former WWE Diva, Ashley Massaro) appeared in an episode of Smallville entitled "Combat", where he plays a Phantom Zone criminal from another world named Titan, who faces off against Clark Kent. Alex Turner character was featured in the fourteen issue Undertaker comic book produced by the now-defunct Chaos! Comics in 1999. The character only spoke once, in the Undertaker Halloween Special, which tied into the single issue Mankind comic book produced by the same company. Jacobs was also featured in a Chef Boyardee commercial.
Jacobs was born to US Air Force parents stationed in Spain. He is married to Maurisa Jacobs neé Goins, whom he married on August 23, 1995, and he has two stepdaughters. According to fan websites, he is of Jewish descent but does not practice. Glenn is a libertarian and supported Ron Paul for President in 2008.
